Frequently Asked Questions
Your jewellery
All MIRA! jewelry is handmade, one by one, crafted using ancient techniques such as goldsmithing and lost-wax casting, combined with new technologies that assist in some steps of the process, such as 3D modeling and printing. We use the following metals in the manufacturing of our pieces:
- 18k Gold, or 18 karats Gold, is composed of 18 parts gold and 6 parts other metal alloys. Each alloy results in a different gold tone, which are: Yellow, White, and Rose.
- 950 Silver (Sterling Silver), composed of 95% pure silver and only 5% copper alloy.
- 950 Silver with 18k gold plating (20 microns). Hypoallergenic plating of very high quality and durability.
To find out which metal was used in your jewelry, please check the description of each piece or your warranty certificate.
Caring for your MIRA! jewellery
Silver pieces undergo a natural chemical process of oxidation that causes tarnishing. This happens with varying intensity depending on proximity to the sea, air pollution, skin pH, and how the jewelry is stored. This process is not related to the quality of the material.
Pieces that are gold-plated, regardless of having the highest quality plating (20 microns), are subject to peeling with use. To slow down this wear, we recommend intensifying the care described here.
- Handle jewelry with care. Be especially careful not to drop it on the floor or hit it against hard surfaces, and never try to force any part of your jewelry to adjust or straighten it, as this can damage its delicate structures, and these are not covered by the warranty.
- Remove jewelry before swimming, showering, playing sports, or other physical activities.
- Keep away from perfume, cream, soap, talc, heat, steam, chlorine, detergent, excessive sweat, or any type of chemical product. Such products damage silver and especially gold plating.
Natural gemstones and pearls are fragile materials that can break with impact. Take good care of them.
Clean your jewelry using a silver cleaner and a flannel cloth, or with a soft-bristled toothbrush and neutral soap in running water. If the dirt is difficult to remove, soak the jewelry in warm water with neutral soap for 5 to 10 minutes and dry with a delicate paper.
If the result is still not satisfactory, please contact us.
What's the delivery time?
Our jewelry is handmade, one by one, on demand or in small batches. Each piece goes through a handcrafted process of great care and dedication until it reaches your hands, which is why we have a period of 15 to 25 business days to produce and ship your jewelry. If we have the piece in stock, shipping will be done within 7 business days after payment confirmation by the financial institution.
As soon as payment is confirmed, the production time stipulated for each piece begins. When the order is ready and shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with the tracking code so you can follow its progress.
From here, the delivery time stipulated by the chosen shipping option begins.

How to find your ring size?
There are several ways to find your ring size. Here are 3 methods:
- Take a ring that fits you well and, using a ruler, measure its INTERNAL diameter, ignoring the thickness of the band. Then just write down this measurement and check the table below to find your size!
- Using a strip of paper or a string, wrap it firmly around your finger, without squeezing, but also without leaving any slack, and mark the exact point where the circumference of your finger ends. Then take this measurement and compare it with the table below.
- Go to a nearby jewelry store and ask them to measure your finger using a ring sizer or a measuring stick. If you are from CURITIBA, just schedule an appointment and come to our studio, we will be at your disposal!
